Intersolar Europe 2024: MGM Group Showcase

MGM Energy, the solar division of MGM Group, made a strong impression at Intersolar Europe 2024, held May 7-9 at Messe München. Europe's premier solar energy exhibition attracted over 50,000 visitors this year, and MGM Energy's stand — featuring a comprehensive range of solar products and solutions — drew consistent interest throughout the three-day event.

Product Highlights

Three new products were officially launched at the exhibition:

• MG-580M Bifacial Module — 580W TOPCon bifacial module with 23.2% efficiency and 30-year linear warranty. Designed for utility-scale projects in European climates with optimized low-light performance
• SolarMount Pro Ground System — New galvanized steel mounting structure with toolless rail connections, reducing installation time by 40%. Available in single-post and double-post configurations for various soil conditions
• EcoStore Hybrid Inverter — 10kW single-phase and 15kW three-phase hybrid inverters with integrated MPPT charge controllers, compatible with LFP battery systems from 10-50 kWh

European Market Focus

Intersolar provided an ideal platform to engage with European installers, EPC contractors, and project developers. Key discussions centered on several themes: the growing demand for solar-plus-storage solutions in Germany and Italy, the importance of EU-compliant product certifications (CE, IEC 61215, IEC 61730), and the need for reliable supply chains with predictable delivery timelines.

Partnership Discussions

The exhibition facilitated productive discussions with over 40 potential distribution and installation partners across 12 European countries. Particular interest came from installers in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece), where the residential solar-plus-storage market is growing rapidly. Several framework agreements are under negotiation, with announcements expected in Q3 2024.

Next Steps

Following Intersolar, MGM Energy will expand its European certification portfolio to include MCS (UK), QualiPV (France), and UNI 9177 (Italy). A European logistics hub is under evaluation, with the Netherlands and Poland as leading candidates, to ensure 72-hour delivery across the continent. We will also return to Intersolar Europe 2025 with a larger stand and expanded product portfolio.
